Running 3 GWs at the same time?
Hey
I wonder if I can run 3 GWs at the same time. I´ve ran 2 GWs with a program for a while and now I need 3 GWs at the same time to be able to rush my other characters on my other account. Any ideas?

- Buy a runner to do it for you
- Ask a guildie to do it for you
- Buy another computer
- Find some way to run the duplicate GW program, duplicated
- Play the game
:P

2 accounts i can understand...but 3 sounds rather dodgy to me...
but without major registry edits to get gwx2 to boot on your comp twice (really not recommended), then i doubt you can run 3 clients.

Somewhere on Guru there's a guide on running more than one instance by logging on under different accounts under XP. It's not a program, just a registry change. Log-on on one XP account, long-on to GW, switch XP accounts, edit the registry, log-on to second GW account, log-on to third XP account, edit the registry, log-on to third GW account. Each registry edit simply points the game to one of the .dat accounts.
The biggest pain is having to switch between XP accounts to manage your GW accounts.

Can't you run GW in different virtual computers on your one physical computer? Like in bootcamp? Hard to use though, without multiple screens and and a screensplit program...

do u manually set-up the 2nd gw w/ regedit + hexedit?
if so, its teh same thing for a 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc...
if u use a downloaded loader that automates teh process
then u'll need to learn how to do it manually
too lazy to explain it or find links
but yea...google is ur friend, etc, etc

and snaek wins
you can run as many as your PC can handle by manually altering your registry and using a hexeditor on the .exe
You reason sounds odd though, why do you need to use 2 accounts to run a 3rd account? Isn't one enough?
Also if you are running two accounts you are either A.using a 3rd party program...your screwed or B. you are doing it manually and already know how to do it.
fwiw ~ I have had 3 accounts running just to try it.
*edit* I see you use a program to do it for you. No, you can't run 3 until you learn how to do it yourself.

Actually You Can Use A Program
http://rapidshare.com/files/11609247...setup.exe.html
Had To Stick It On Rapid Share Because Even Zipped Can't Up It Here But DL It And You Get A Program That Can Run 5 GW's At A Time(Why I Don't Know + The Computer Needed Makes It Border On Insane)
It Is Safe But No Doubt I'll Get /Flames And Shouts Of Virus, Just Hope Someone Does DL And Up's A Check Report.
I Have USED It Before Though Found It To Be In Excess So Simply Change The Files Via Hex As I Only Run 3 Copy's.
To Use Simply Have As Many Copy's Of GW As You Need, Open This, Select The Locations And Patch Them. There Are Start Parameter Options Too, E.G Force DX8 - No Sound Etc..
As For Needing More The Only Thing I Can Think Off Is What I Do, Run 3 At A Time For HFFF. 30K Faction For Alliance And 11250G For Me Every 45 Minutes Or So (Takes Longer Because Your Swapping Back And Forth)

Lazerath, please please please, stop typing with every word capitalized. It is very difficult to read your posts, and it is terrible English. Only capitalize proper nouns, beginning of sentences, and acronyms.
Thanks,
Rahja
BTW, Neb was correct, you must regedit and hexedit. More time consuming then it is worth.

I want to run my two other accounts with survivor characters at the same time. That´s the reason, I want to get them to Lutgardis and I´m too lazy to do it twice. Will try the hexeditor thing now. Thanks for the help

On the subject of Lazerath's posts - he's typing the whole lot with caps lock on. This forum won't allow all-caps, so it initial-capitalises it. Looks odd, but slightly better than all caps.
Laz - lay off the caps lock dude

Thanks For The Defense Snograt But I Haven't Got The Caps Key On. I Started Typing Every Word With A Capital About 12 Years Ago On A Few Forums To Separate My Self. I Branched Into Colours Too (Usually Contrasting) But Sadly Colours Can't Be Used Here.
I Write In This Style On So Many Sites (About 70+) And It Is Also The Method By Which People Recognize Me. If Also Furthers My Distinction On The Websites I Moderate And As Such Has Become An Inbuilt Habit Of Mine That I WILL NOT Change.
Now The Bit That Will Get Flamed...
Since Using This Style I Have never Once Had ANY!! Comments Or Rants About It From Anyone, Anywhere.
I Read Posts On This Site Daily But Rarely Post Due To The Sheer Amount Of TROLLS That Love To Flame For No Reason And This Goes To Prove It.
This Is The Only Site People Flame Me And Others For No Real Reason, More Just For The Fact That They Can.
Well Quite Frankly... I Don't CARE!
I Will Post In The Style That Suits Me And If People Don't Like It, Well, It Hurts No One So DEAL WITH THE INDIFFERENCE!! And Stop Trolling For A Flame Fight!

O noes.
Get a few complaints, I guess.
Your style is your own business - at least it's not a rainbow.
Head over to off-topic - they will love it there
Out of the ordinary, for sure.
Of course, you will get flamed, but you're used to that.
Your on your own with that, too!
Ass, I think I made my point

Learned that^ by myself and I have to say it's very complicated to the untrained eye.
I got a better suggestion since the OP wants Legendary Survivor titles quickly.
1. Get your characters to GWEN in Gunnar's hold.
2. Do the fronis irontoe dungeon with experience scrolls.
3. In about 2 days hard work you can get 1 character with maxed survivor.
So that would be about 1 week to get all 3 with maxed survivor. The dungeon is repetitive and you can make enough money back for the scrolls bought.
I see that much faster than HFFF, the quest gives 2k xp when with the dungeon you can make more than 2k exp every 4 kills (by using lightbringer scrolls).
